Extend your product engineering team

Add expertise with a clear responsibility.

When more capacity needs a clear boundary

Your internal team knows the product but cannot take on every priority. A difficult integration, a new customer journey or a substantial release may need additional expertise. The useful starting point is the responsibility that needs an owner, not a target number of developers.

Agree what we will own

We identify the initiative, its interfaces with other teams and the decisions needed to deliver it. We agree how work is reviewed and who can accept it. If the real blocker is an unresolved requirement or external dependency, we make that visible before assuming more implementation capacity will solve it.

Work in your delivery environment

An effective partnership fits the existing repository, communication channels and release arrangements. We establish access, development environments and review expectations, then deliver a bounded change through the actual process. That first slice shows how the teams collaborate and where the operating agreement needs adjustment.

Leave your team able to continue

Implementation is accompanied by the reasoning, tests and operating information needed to maintain it. We make consequential decisions visible and involve the people who will support the release. Responsibility can expand after the initial work is understood; continuity should not depend on undocumented knowledge held by one person.

Questions before we start

Is this staff augmentation?

The engagement can add engineering capacity, but we define a product responsibility and an acceptance process as well. We discuss the right arrangement around your actual initiative.

How do you start in an unfamiliar codebase?

We establish the working environment, inspect relevant product flows and dependencies, and take a bounded change through review and release. This exposes constraints early.
