Move from a demonstration to a customer task

An AI demo can be compelling while leaving the product question unresolved. We help choose a recurring task where assistance may improve the experience: finding supported information, preparing a draft or proposing a structured result for review. The use case determines the design and evaluation, rather than following a model choice.

Design the complete workflow

We identify permitted sources, user access and the shape of the expected result. The product must show what can be trusted, what remains uncertain and where a person can correct it. An unavailable model, conflicting source or rejected answer needs an explicit path. These behaviours are part of the feature, not later operational additions.

Evaluate before expanding

We assemble representative cases with the people who understand the task. Evaluation covers usefulness, unsupported output, access boundaries and recovery as well as response time. We compare the complete workflow with the existing process, including review and correction effort. A faster draft alone does not establish a better customer outcome.

Release with ownership

A limited rollout gives the team a way to observe use, investigate problems and pause the feature. We agree who maintains prompts, source material and evaluation cases as the product changes. Our work with OpenMed connects AI-assisted medication mapping to the review and data workflows around it.
